ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΟ
Ο ΝΑΥΠΑΚΤΙΑΚΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ιδρύθηκε το 1958 απο συνένωση των ομάδων Ναυπακτιακού και Αστέρα Ναυπάκτου. Οναμάστηκε Παπαχαραλάμπειος Αθλητικός Σύλλογος Ναυπακτιακός Αστέρας, προς τιμή του ευργέτη της πόλης μας Δ. Παπαχαραλάμπους. Για αρκετά χρόνια αγωνιζόταν στα τοπικά πρωταθλήματα Αχαίας - Αιτωλοακαρνανίας . Το 1981 ανέβηκε στη τρίτη Εθνική κατηγορία αγωνίστηκε σε αυτή για τρία συνεχόμενα χρόνια μετά έπεσε πάλι στο τοπικό πρωτάθλημα. Το 1992 ανέβηκε πάλι στη τέταρτη Εθνική κατηγορία απ΄οπου το 1966 ανέβηκε στη τρίτη Εθνική επαγγελματική κατηγορία και δημιουργήθηκε η Ποδσφαιρική Αθλητική Ανώνυμη Εταιρεία Ναυπακτιακός Αστέρας που έκτοτε παίζει πρωταγωνηστηκό ρόλο στη τρίτη Εθνική κατηγορία.

Who Is Who - in Greek Soccer
The team of NAFPAKTIAKOS ASTERAS was established in 1958 after the Union of two local teams, Nafpaktiakos and Asteras Nafpaktou . PAPAHARALAMPIOS ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION "NAFPAKTIAKOS ASTERAS" was named after the Benefactor of the city of Nafpaktos Dimitrios Papaharalampous (James Pappas) a long time US Citizen. Since 1981-1992 the team competed locally. From 1996 the team began to compete professionally. This year is under a new ownership Mr. Nick Mperetanos. The team now more then ever has the resources to compete in the B' Division in Greece.

stronger) seems as powerful and globally inspiring as ever. In all, the Games will
draw more than 10,000 athletes from over 200 countries.

The Olympic Games were the greatest national festival for the Athenians. Held every four years, athletes came from all regions of Greece to compete in the great Stadium of Olympia and honor their supreme god, Zeus. The most important of the competitions was the pentathlon, where an athlete competed in five different events. At the conclusion of The Games, the winners were presented garlands and crowned with olive wreaths. |
